The American Board of Telehealth is promoting a strategic vision for the advancement in telehealth education.

Our approach:

  • Offer education opportunities aimed at standardizing and validating the knowledge and skills needed to meet demand for remote services while maintaining excellent patient care.
  • Oversight and strategic vision of the advancement in telehealth education by a founding and advisory board made up of highly regarded experts in telehealth.
  • Create a community of gold-standard telehealth education and resources through collaboration with important stakeholders in telehealth.

The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust aspires to improve lives by supporting exceptional efforts in the U.S. and around the world in health and select place-based initiatives. Since beginning active grant making in 2008, Helmsley has committed more than $2.2 billion for a wide range of charitable purposes. Helmsley’s Rural Healthcare Program funds innovative projects that use information technologies to connect rural patients to emergency medical care. The program brings the latest medical therapies to patients in remote areas, and provides state-of-the-art training for rural hospitals and EMS personnel.
